Google I/O 2023: A look at the biggest announcements

Google I/O is Google's annual developer conference, and it's always a major event for the tech industry. This year's conference was no exception, with a number of big announcements that are sure to have a major impact on the way we use technology.

Here are some of the biggest announcements from Google I/O 2023:

  • AI, AI, Ai : A major focus of IO this year was, to no surprise, Artificial Intelligence. More specifically how Google is planning to add AI to it’s core products like Gmail, Maps, Search, and more.

  • Pixel Fold: This will be Google's first attempt at a foldable, and give the first real competition to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series here in the US. There’s a lot to be excited about with the Fold - the smaller, passport like form factor; the new hinge mechanism that touts a “zero gap” design when folded shut to name a few!

  • Pixel Tablet: Google’s taking a new approach to the tablet market. Instead of taking on the industry leader, iPad, with a high end gaming and computing machine. They are instead taking a content and convenience approach that is refreshing and exciting. It comes with a speaker dock that almost makes it feel more like a smart display (similar to Google Hub Max) that just happens to have a removable screen that you can use to watch your favorite shows.

These are just a few of the biggest announcements from Google I/O 2023. With so many new products and features, it's clear that Google is committed to making technology more helpful and accessible for everyone.

Here are some of the key takeaways from Google I/O 2023:

  • Google is focused on making AI more helpful for everyone.
